This is a call for art that brings visibility, understanding, dialogue and engagement to the issue of dumping of 1.3 million tons of radioactive waste water from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant into the Pacific Ocean in April. Please help stop the dump with your art.
WHAT:
This call to artists is for temporary visual art, song, poetry, story, photo, video, or installations that bring visibility, understanding, dialogue and engagement specifically to the issues of the radioactive dump from the Fukushima nuclear power plant, scheduled to happen sometime in the Spring/Summer of 2023.
WHEN:
The timeline is urgent since the dump is scheduled for the Spring/Summer of 2023.
WHO:
Everyone is encouraged to get involved, including youth and children.
